Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while accurately processing transactions. As a Cashier, you will play a vital role in creating a positive shopping experience for our customers by ensuring smooth and efficient checkout operations.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly and provide assistance as needed.
  • Process sales transactions accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
  • Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions with precision.
  • Maintain knowledge of current promotions and upsell products to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Stock shelves and ensure the sales floor is organized and well-presented.
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive work environment.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
  • Strong basic math skills for accurate cash handling.
  • Ability to effectively sell products and upsell when appropriate.
  • Experience with cash handling procedures and POS systems is a plus.
  • Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply to better serve our diverse clientele.
  • Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
