Responsibilities

  • Operate power tools and hand tools safely for tasks such as carpentry, drywall installation, and trim work
  • Read blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to understand project specifications and requirements
  • Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment to ensure smooth workflow on-site
  • Support masonry tasks including bricklaying, stucco application, and tile laying for aesthetic and structural purposes
  • Help with rrestoration, renovation projects, and other specialized trades as needed
  • Use heavy equipment such as track loaders, excavators
  • Maintain a clean and organized work site by disposing of debris and securing materials properly
  • Follow safety guidelines diligently to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with OSHA standards

Qualifications

  • Prior experience working on construction sites or in related trades is preferred but not required; training will be provided for eager learners
  • Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with construction estimating is a plus
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and basic machinery used in construction activities
  • Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods
  • Knowledge of concrete forming, finishing techniques, plastering, caulking, flooring installation, and tile laying is advantageous
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Excellent teamwork skills combined with a proactive attitude towards safety and quality standards
