We invite you to bring your unique talents,<span> </span></span><span>passion</span><span><span> </span>and ideas to our collaborative team.</span></span><span> </span></p><p></p><p>The <b>Consumer Products Operations Coordinator</b> is responsible for supporting the Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Consumer Products programs by coordinating and organizing all global plans and requests from internal and external partners related to the full product development pipeline across all titles and franchise properties, including timelines, film assets, creative reviews, milestone schedules, consumer products marketing programs, and franchise reference.</p><p></p><p>Reporting to the Director, Franchise Strategy and Consumer Products, this role will support the Walt Disney Animation Studios Marketing and Franchise team by providing comprehensive operational support for the successful development of Consumer Products and Merchandise programs based on the full library of WDAS content.</p><p></p><p><b>Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li>Manage the Consumer Products milestone development schedule for new films and franchise projects, ensuring key dates are secured and planned across WDAS portfolio films</li><li>Collaborate with Consumer Products and WDAS Production to develop and maintain internal Needs & Assets documents, tracking critical due dates, film reference requests, music needs, and anticipated deliveries in support of CP strategies</li><li>Oversee reference asset timing and track against Consumer Products timelines, identifying gaps in order to proactively workshop solutions</li><li>Organize and oversee new film asset folders and franchise libraries to ensure they are continually up-to-date with the latest consumer-products reference to support development needs and speed to market; disseminate securely, watermarking appropriately</li><li>Curate folders based on CP-specific needs and requests, providing updates to CP-teams weekly, and approving access to internal and external teams</li><li>Project-manage full program needs for specific CP category partners, including art deliveries, marketing and PR requests, multiple shifting due dates, and weekly meetings</li><li>Memorialize notes for key meetings throughout the week, and publish securely for internal and external teams</li><li>Facilitate required follow-ups to move development forward for cross-category projects tied to WDAS films</li><li>Coordinate schedules to secure 3+ weekly working sessions and required milestone meetings on calendar</li><li>Lead special projects as needed</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Basic Qualifications: </b></p><ul><li>Bachelors Degree or equivalent professional experience</li><li>Meticulous organizational skills are a must</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Ability to juggle multiple simultaneous deadlines and reprioritize efforts frequently when needed</li><li>A thorough understanding of Excel, Word, Google Suite applications, and an ability to learn new technical tools on the job</li><li>Experience with deck creation through PowerPoint and Keynote</li><li>Strong interpersonal skills</li><li>Collaborative team player</li><li>An eagerness to learn constantly</li><li>Effectively able to partner closely with many different types of colleagues, in both creative and technical spaces</li><li>Ability to recommend new best practices and ideas based on time and experience spent in role.</li><li><span><span>Must be available to work onsite at least 3 days per week.</span></span></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Preferred Qualifications: </b></p><ul><li>Experience in Consumer Products or Product Development-related experience preferred</li><li>Understanding of Animation Pipeline a bonus</li></ul><p></p><p></p><p></p><ul></ul>The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $54,000 to $72,300 per year based on a 40 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
