Overview

Client is seeking a Senior Level Data Scientist to support automation and advanced analytics within the Media Operations group. This role focuses on transforming large, complex marketing and user behavior datasets into actionable insights that improve paid campaign performance and traffic quality across digital platforms.

The position emphasizes hands-on data work, workflow automation, and applied data science to help the organization better understand user quality, campaign effectiveness, and downstream user value. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in large-scale data environments and collaborating closely with marketing, analytics, and business stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience as a Data Scientist or Analytics-focused role in a large-scale data environment
  • Strong experience working in Databricks
  • Experience handling very large datasets (100M+ users per month, multiple events per user, data volumes ranging from hundreds of GBs to terabytes)
  • Proficiency in data extraction, transformation, and analysis from both structured and unstructured sources
  • Applied data science and modeling experience focused on behavioral or marketing analytics
  • Experience using AWS data and AI services for data processing and automation
  • Strong SQL and analytical skills
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders
