Researches land transactions and compiles parcel change information into the GIS spatial database.Produces procedural documentation for those particular processes under their control.Interviews clients to determine elements of mapping requests. Fulfills requests for various mapping products.Research, compile and enter changes in the GIS spatial databaseMaintains Cadastral data layersMaintains Tax, City Annex, PLSS, and Election data layersMaintains other data layers as assignedMaintains process documentationMaintains internal proceduresMaintains progress reports on a regular basisAssists the public and fulfills requests for mapping productsAssists walk-in and call-in customersPrepares basic maps as requestedMinimum Qualifications: Two years of Cadastral cartographic experience performing data compilation and entry. Previous experience with ESRI software (ArcPro) and editing feature classes. Understanding of legal descriptions and the Public Land Survey System. High School diploma or equivalent. Preferred Qualifications: Five years practical use of ESRI software to include ArcGIS desktop editing tools, COGO and the use of ancillary ArcPro products to maintain cadastral data. Familiarity with ESRI Parcel Fabric. Two years of post-secondary education or training in computer aided drafting or GIS.
