The ISL is a <strong>customer-facing, technically grounded role</strong> that combines deep engineering expertise with the ability to articulate and shape product vision. The ISL engages directly with customers to understand problems and use cases, translates them into Vision Documents, Feature Specs, and Product Documents, and then drives execution through structured <strong>4–6 week innovation sprints</strong> in collaboration with COE teams and technical SMEs. This role partners closely with Product Engineering customers, Pre-Sales, Sales, Delivery, and COE teams to understand customer challenges, define solution strategies, and translate them into scalable, differentiated offerings.</p><p>The ideal candidate brings strong experience across <strong>Azure, data platforms, and AI/GenAI</strong>, combined with the ability to craft compelling <strong>Vision Documents, Feature Specifications, and Product Documents</strong>. Critically, the ISL’s strength in documentation is grounded in hands-on technical expertise — they understand what they are recommending, can evaluate feasibility, and can engage with engineers, architects, and SMEs throughout execution.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Serve as the <strong>primary customer-facing point of contact</strong> during the discovery and solutioning phase — deeply understand the customer’s problem statement, business context, and use cases before defining a solution path</li><li>Lead the creation of <strong>Vision Documents, Feature Specifications, and Product Documents</strong> that clearly articulate problem statements, scope, user flows, expected outcomes, and measurable success criteria; technical depth is essential to make these actionable for engineering teams</li><li>Drive <strong>structured 4–6 week innovation sprints</strong> to take a customer use case from POC/vision plan to a working prototype or MVP — coordinating closely with COE teams, technical SMEs, and delivery squads to ensure execution quality and speed</li><li>Own and drive <strong>end-to-end solutioning</strong> for customer opportunities across Cloud, Data, and AI domains</li><li>Collaborate with <strong>Sales, Pre-Sales, Delivery, and COE teams</strong> to shape compelling solution narratives and proposals; act as the <strong>central coordinator</strong> across internal stakeholders — COE, technical SMEs, Product, Delivery, and Sales — ensuring alignment throughout the engagement lifecycle</li><li>Lead the creation of <strong>Points of View (PoVs), solution decks, and value propositions</strong> aligned to customer business outcomes </li><li>Guide teams in executing <strong>Proof of Concepts (PoCs), pilots, and MVPs</strong>, pilots, and MVPs within time-boxed innovation sprints — from vision plan to working prototype — ensuring measurable outcomes and stakeholder visibility at every stage</li><li>Embed <strong>AI/GenAI capabilities</strong> (Copilots, AI agents, automation, analytics) into solutions to drive differentiation </li><li>Work with delivery teams to ensure <strong>solution feasibility, scalability, and cost optimization</strong> </li><li>Engage with customer stakeholders to present solutions, articulate value, and influence decision-making </li><li>Continuously track <strong>emerging trends in Cloud, AI, and data engineering</strong>, and bring them into solution strategy</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Requirements & Skills</strong></p><ul><li>12+ years of experience in <strong>Engineering / IT Services / Digital Transformation</strong>, preferably in Hi-Tech or Enterprise domains </li><li>Strong experience in <strong>Azure Cloud ecosystem</strong>, including services across compute, storage, networking, and security </li><li>Good understanding of <strong>cloud-native architectures</strong> (microservices, containers, serverless, event-driven systems) </li><li>Exposure to <strong>AI/ML and GenAI concepts</strong>, including: </li><li>LLM-based solutions, copilots, or AI agents </li><li>Prompt engineering, RAG architectures, or AI orchestration frameworks </li><li>Proven ability to author <strong>Vision Documents, Feature Specs, and Product Documents</strong> — from concise executive 1-pagers to detailed functional specifications; technical depth is a prerequisite, not optional, for this skill</li><li>Strong skill in defining <strong>problem statement, scope, user flows, and expected outcomes</strong> in a structured manner </li><li>Experience writing <strong>developer-ready specs</strong> including user stories, workflows, inputs/outputs, and acceptance criteria</li><li>Experience in <strong>proposal development, customer presentations, and stakeholder management </strong></li><li>Demonstrated ability to <strong>lead and coordinate cross-functional teams</strong> across COE, technical SMEs, Sales, Pre-Sales, and Delivery during time-boxed innovation sprints (4–6 weeks) — driving accountability, managing dependencies, and maintaining sprint momentum</li><li>Strong <strong>customer-facing presence and communication skills</strong> — ability to run discovery workshops, facilitate use-case definition sessions, and translate ambiguous customer problems into a structured solution vision</li><li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred)</li></ul><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Equality & Opportunity for All </strong></p><p>Representing 165 nationalities across the globe, we pride ourselves on being an equal opportunity employer, committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all applicants and employees regardless of race, religion, sex, color, age, national origin, pregnancy, sexual orientation, physical disability or genetic information, military or veteran status, or any other protected classification, in accordance with federal, state, and/or local law.</p>
