That’s why thousands of financial institutions look to Vericast and our 150 years of financial services expertise to help them achieve more.</p></div></section><section class="job-section" id="st-jobDescription"><div><p class="googlejobs-paragraph--empty"></p><h2 class="title">Job Description</h2></div><div class="wysiwyg" itemprop="responsibilities"><p><strong>Duties:</strong>  Responsible for design, development, administration, and continuous improvement of our enterprise platform, ServiceNow; provide ServiceNow customization and configuration including scripting, workflow administration, workspace configuration, report setup, module configuration, data imports and third-part software integration; assist in development efforts that include (but are not limited to) custom portal pages, modules, API and software integrations, customized web pages, User interface policies and scripts; develop and design creative ServiceNow technical solutions to complex problems and provide detailed specifications for those proposed solutions; develop, test and implement Client Scripts, Business Rules, UI Policies, UI Actions, and ACLs including advanced scripting of each, forms workflows, and custom Service Portal widgets; collaborate with application teams to design and implement data interfaces with other enterprise application systems; ensure proper operation and configuration of the platform through testing and validation; develop, test, and implement data integrations via API calls to various other technologies within our Platform environment; administration of the application, including but not limited to, installation/upgrading, configuration, operation, and maintenance; design and develop custom scoped applications on the ServiceNow platform to meet business requirements; develop and document operational best practices for the platform; automate the processing of inbound emails by implementing email injection and enabling the handling and parsing of emails for actionable workflows; advance the maturity of the environment by researching and implementing new tools and technologies; function as the Technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the application layer of our ServiceNow platform; manage ServiceNow On-Call Schedules, including configuring escalation paths, rotation groups, and notification rules to ensure seamless 24/7 incident response coverage; maintained and improve CMDB data accuracy by auditing Configuration Items (CIs), validating relationships, and aligning records with ITIL best practices to support change and incident management; ensure platform configurations and customizations comply with organizational security policies and standards; implement role-based access controls and manage user permissions; support audits and compliance reporting related to ServiceNow usage; support ITIL processes within ServiceNow including Incident, Problem, Change, and Request Management; collaborate with process owners to enhance workflows and ensure alignment with business needs; and mentor less senior ServiceNow developers and administrators.
