<p><strong>Position Summary:</strong></p><p>We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented IT Sales Specialist to join our dynamic sales team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with government and/or commercial accounts, driving sales of our comprehensive IT solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of the IT landscape, a proven track record of success in B2B and/or B2G sales, and the ability to navigate complex sales cycles.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Account Management & Business Development</strong></p><ul><li>Identify, prospect, and qualify new business opportunities within government agencies and/or commercial enterprises.</li><li>Cultivate and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.</li><li>Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed sales targets and revenue goals.</li><li>Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, addressing client needs and ensuring customer satisfaction.</li></ul><p><strong>Sales Process & Strategy:</strong></p><ul><li>Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand client challenges and pain points.</li><li>Present and demonstrate our IT solutions in a compelling and persuasive manner, highlighting their value and benefits.</li><li>Craft and deliver compelling proposals, RFPs (Request for Proposals), and presentations tailored to the specific requirements of each account.</li><li>Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing to close deals and secure new business.</li><li>Manage the entire sales cycle, from initial contact to post-sale follow-up.</li></ul><p><strong>Market & Product Knowledge:</strong></p><ul><li>Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activities in both the government and commercial sectors.</li><li>Maintain a deep understanding of our product and service offerings, their technical specifications, and their application to various business and government challenges.</li><li>Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing expert advice on IT strategy and solutions.</li></ul><p><strong>Collaboration & Reporting:</strong></p><ul><li>Work closely with the technical and delivery teams to ensure seamless implementation and customer success.</li><li>Collaborate with marketing to develop targeted campaigns and sales materials.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, client interactions, and sales forecasts in our CRM system (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).</li><li>Provide regular reports on sales performance, pipeline status, and market feedback to management.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field.</li><li>Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT sales, with a strong emphasis on selling to government and/or commercial accounts.</li><li>Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas.</li><li>Experience with government procurement and tender bid processes would be highly advantageous.</li><li>Demonstrated experience in a B2B/ B2G sales environment, managing complex and long-term sales cycles.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Skills & Attributes:</strong></p><ul><li>Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.</li><li>Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients at all levels.</li><li>Self-motivated, proactive, and goal-oriented.</li><li>Strong business acumen and an understanding of key IT concepts (e.g., applications, CRM solutions, cloud, cybersecurity, networking, AI etc.).</li></ul><p></p>
