About the role


As a CBRE Maintenance Planner, you will provide building maintenance and office administration support to company managed buildings. This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.


What you’ll do


+ Proactively follows up with vendors to obtain status updates on work orders and assists in keeping work orders on track to meet required completion dates as needed

+ Works directly with subcontractor to update scopes or NTEs (not-to-exceeds) up to established thresholds. If there are any changes to the contract between IFM provider and vendor, this should be handled by the IFM provider.

+ Supports Operations Manager in coordinating work sent to vendors

+ Manages non-connected vendors

+ Orders parts and supplies to support technicians or for vendors who do not provide their own

+ Reviews work orders to ensure scope is complete

+ Reviews and approves invoices

+ Provides support to Operations Manager to optimize technician efficiency


What you’ll need


+ SI7 experience preferred.

+ MS Office skills required.

+ High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma or equivalent experience with 2-3 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.

+ Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems.

+ Experience with analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments.

+ In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

+ Organizational skills with a strong inquisitive approach.

+ Intermediate math skills. Ability to calculate difficult figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial related calculations.

The minimum salary for the Maintenance Planner position is $60,000 annually [or $28.85 per hour] and the maximum salary for the Maintenance Planner position is $65,000 annually [or $31.25 per hour]. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
