This is a great opportunity to join a fast-paced Orthopedic group in Corona, California as a medical scribe. Your role would be to provide high-quality patient care while performing a variety of tasks that include (but are not limited to) review and reporting of patient medical records, pre-charting, patient intake, and real-time scribing to assist care providers in the examination and treatment of patients.

Job Requirements:

  • Demonstrates the ability to work with patients of all ages with diverse social, economic, and ethnic backgrounds while always maintaining confidentiality.
  • Performs real-time scribing with providers to ensure proper documentation of the visit.
  • Collects patient history and performs pre-charting to review with a physician.
  • Records patient care documentation in the medical record accurately and in electronic health records in a timely manner.
  • Adheres to all medical practice policies and procedures, including HIPAA
  • Ability to relate and work with people of all authority levels, ages, social and ethnic backgrounds.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of computer technology, including word processing, spreadsheet, and databases, required.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
  • Must have strong knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy .
  • 65+ WPM typing speed.

Ability to Commute:

  • Corona and Murrieta Offices (Required)
