Florida Project | Starts January 2026 | Full-Time

Project Details

  • Position: Field Applicators – Coatings and Linings, Blasting, Concrete Repair, and Floor Coatings.
  • Location: Eastern Central Florida / Space Coast Area of Florida.
  • Project Duration: 12 to 18 months with significant, long-term overtime opportunities.
  • Start Date: Early January 2026.
  • Pay: $23.00 – $28.00/hour (based on work experience).

Position Overview

Join Superior Industrial Maintenance as we make a difference in our community on a long-term, high-impact project requiring precision, professionalism, and a strong commitment to safety and quality. We’re looking for experienced Commercial and Industrial Painters and Abrasive Blasters with specialized skills in:

  • All forms of Media Blasting and surface preparation.
  • Application of Industrial Coatings, Fireproofing, and Linings. Plural component experience a plus.
  • Application and finishing of a wide variety of Commercial Coatings and waterproofing systems.
  • Floor Coating Systems and Applications methods including epoxy, urethane cement, and polyaspartic and polyurea systems.

Responsibilities

  • Surface preparation: cleaning, sanding, patching.
  • Apply coatings and linings.
  • Work on interior and exterior projects and some work at heights.
  • Operate hand tools, blast and paint equipment, generators, compressors, material handling equipment, and aerial lifts. Scaffold building experience a plus.
  • Maintain tools & follow all safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with site supervisors and trades.

Requirements

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and able to provide valid documentation upon request.
  • Must be able to pass a stringent criminal background check.
  • Must possess a valid, unexpired U.S. government-issued REAL ID or Driver’s License, or Passport for identity verification.
  • We are a drug-free workplace, and employees must be willing to submit to drug testing prior to and during employment.
  • 3+ years of commercial or industrial painting experience
  • Must have reliable transportation and live within a reasonable commuting proximity to the Space Coast of Florida. Relocation or short-term temporary lodging assistance may be provided for the right candidates.
  • Strong attention to detail & work ethic.
