Job Scope:

  • Site Supervisor / Snr Superintendent / Site Manager
  • Responsible for operating heavy machinery in a safe and effective manner

Core Responsibilities:


Safety & Health :

  • Operate all heavy machinery in a safe and efficient way according to all relevant legislation, policies and procedures
  • Perform daily safety and maintenance checks
  • Ensure heavy machinery is safely and securely stored
  • Attend daily Toolbox Meeting
  • Always wearing the necessary PPE while working on site.
  • Practise workplace safety and always follow the safe work procedures


Operation of Machines :

  • Inform the Site Supervisor & Chief Mechanic of any requirements for maintenance and repair works.
  • Always log in and log out on the data logger/ log book provided.
  • Always stay together with the mechanic during any repair works.
  • Ensure quality of work done
  • Handle the machine with care.
  • Clean heavy machinery as scheduled or as and when required
  • Accept and perform any ad-hoc tasks given.
  • Follow Site supervisors, Rigger signalman and banksman instruction and guidance while operating the machinery unless otherwise.


Technical Skills:

  • Primary education preferred with minimum 1 year of relevant experience
  • Able to understand basic English and communicate with team members

Soft Skills:

  • Physically fit
  • Good team player

Key Deliverables:

  • Able to operate the heavy machinery in a safe and efficient manner in order to minimize the risk of injury or damage to property
