Responsibilities

  • Monitor information security tools for vulnerabilities and potential security incidents
  • Perform security reviews related to user IDs, authorized access, and controls
  • Research vulnerabilities and develop strategies for safeguarding information
  • Implement information security procedures related to new applications and initiatives
  • Install, configure, and maintain security hardware and/or software

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field
  • One year of professional experience in IT-related roles such as system analysis, troubleshooting, or business analysis
  • CompTIA Security Plus Certification is required
  • Ability to substitute relevant IT experience for educational requirements on a year-for-year basis
  • Proficiency in security technologies and information systems
  • Experience with Endpoint, Network, and other Detection and Response tools
  • Internships within relevant departments may substitute for professional experience
