In this role, you will play a critical part in driving operational excellence, compliance, and employee support in North America payroll operations. You’ll be instrumental in managing payroll-related inquiries, enhancing day to day processes, supporting audit requests, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a seamless payroll experience.<br><br>Role<br>Key Responsibilities<br>• Respond to HR inquiries across Payroll, Compensation, and Benefits with professionalism and accuracy, ensuring timely resolution in line with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).<br>• Address complex HR/Payroll issues and proactively identify and implement process improvements.<br>• Manage a range of special projects, from simple to complex, as needed.<br>• Collaborate with internal teams (COEs, HR Field) to gather information and drive tasks to completion.<br>• Support high-level transaction processing and ensure audit compliance through proper workflows.<br>• Handle confidential data in accordance with MasterCard confidentiality requirements.<br>• Independently develop and adapt processes to resolve transaction-related challenges.<br>• Contribute to the AskHR knowledgebase and create user documentation (e.g., How-To guides).<br>• Operate with cultural sensitivity and flexibility across regions.<br>• Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards in all supported countries.<br>• Continuously build regional knowledge through team-based learning and sharing.<br><br>All About You<br>Qualifications<br><br>• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field.<br>• 3+ years of payroll, compliance, or audit experience<br>• Strong understanding of North America payroll processes and related regulatory requirements.<br>• Strong working knowledge of payroll systems (Workday) <br>• Experience with SOX controls and internal audit processes is a plus.<br>• Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.<br>• Advanced Excel and data analytics skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, reporting tools).<br>• Demonstrated experience in payroll processing<br>• Equity knowledge a plus<br>• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams, functions and time zones<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p>To find US Salary Ranges, visit People Place.
