His professional content production & marketing firm, BC Ventures is seeking a talented and dedicated Social Media Moderator to join our team in Palm Springs, CA, or remotely within the state of California. This position is part time, every Thursday from 10am to 6:30pm, and every Friday from 9am to 5:30pm.As Social Media Moderator, your primary responsibility will be to deliver community engagement and moderation where our content is distributed, including YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and Kick. In collaboration with another fellow Social Media Moderator, you will work to support the success of our social media accounts, the growth of our player community, and our dedicated commitment to brand partners.Key ResponsibilitiesReview and moderate all comments as they come in across our multiple social media pages, write engaging responses, like and amplify positive interactions.Create a balanced and authentic presence in the comment sections, emphasizing meaningful conversations and community building.Provide exceptional customer service by responding to fan inquiries and questions coming in via Direct Messages.Learn and apply our brand voice across all interactions when responding to comments and messages.Be intimately familiar with the daily content schedule in order to support all new posts promptly by liking and replying to positive and engaging comments, which in turn boosts post performance.Moderate our branded Facebook groups by reviewing and approving appropriate posts and vetting new member requests.Make our channels a safe space across all platforms, and keep all our comments sections positive by removing or banning negative accounts and spam.Assist with additional administrative tasks that may be assigned, such as helping to run social media giveaways, among others.Tag comments that may be valuable, such as testimonials and viewer stories that show we had a positive influence on them, as well as questions to be turned into knowledge articles on our website FlipTheSwitch.com.Key QualificationsBachelor’s degree or higher.Professional experience in social media management desired.Working knowledge of creator tools on social platforms (such as YouTube Studio, Meta Business Suite, TikTok Creator Tools) and social management software like Sprout, a plus.Attention to detail and task completion, particularly for processing comments methodically across every social platform on a daily basis.Impeccable communication skills, a team player attitude, proactive at reporting results and any issues to management.Creative writing skills, with the ability to emulate a given tone of voice, and convey emotion and humor appropriately.Passion to build lasting, emotional connections between a brand or creator and its followers, as well as good judgment when it comes to moderating negative online behavior.Utmost work ethic, integrity, ownership, sense of initiative that is second to none, and a positive, solution-driven demeanor.BC Ventures, LLC is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace.
