<h2>Job Title: Payroll Specialist</h2><h3>Job Summary</h3><p>We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable <strong>Payroll Specialist</strong> to support the accurate processing of payroll for a workforce of 700+ employees. This role is responsible for reviewing and auditing daily time reporting, ensuring payroll accuracy, and supporting job cost tracking. The ideal candidate will have a solid payroll background, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with HR and management.</p><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Review and audit daily time and hours reports for over 700 employees to ensure accurate job cost tracking.</li><li>Analyze employee time entries, identify discrepancies, and work closely with HR and Managers to resolve issues promptly.</li><li>Process timecards efficiently and accurately to meet payroll deadlines.</li><li>Maintain compliance with payroll policies, procedures, and internal controls.</li><li>Ensure accurate recordkeeping and support payroll-related reporting as needed.</li></ul><h3>Required Skills & Experience</h3><ul><li>Minimum of <strong>2 years of office support experience</strong>, with a strong emphasis on payroll processing.</li><li>Hands-on experience with <strong>ADP payroll systems</strong>.</li><li>Strong <strong>Microsoft Excel</strong> skills, including data analysis, reconciliation, and reporting.</li><li>High attention to detail with the ability to manage large volumes of data accurately.</li></ul><h3>Preferred Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Prior experience auditing employee timecards or managing high-volume payroll environments.</li><li>Ability to manage competing priorities and meet strict deadlines.</li><li>Strong communication and problem-solving skills.</li></ul><h3>Work Environment & Position Details</h3><ul><li><strong>Onsite position</strong> based at the <strong>West Street location</strong>.</li><li><strong>Contract-to-hire opportunity</strong>, providing a pathway to full-time employment.</li><li>Payroll responsibilities are dedicated solely to time and payroll processing, as benefits administration is handled separately.</li></ul><strong>Job Type & Location</strong><p>This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wichita, KS.</p><strong>Pay and Benefits</strong><p>The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $42.00/hr.<p>Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
