You’ll partner with cross-functional teams to architect secure, high-performing environments while supporting modernization initiatives across cloud infrastructure, data platforms, and visualization ecosystems.</p> <p>This role blends strategic architecture leadership with practical administration and engineering responsibilities. You’ll help shape platform direction, drive best practices, and ensure reliable, scalable solutions that enable data-driven decision-making across the organization.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities</strong>:</p> <ul> <li>Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud-based analytics and data platform solutions</li> <li>Architect and optimize enterprise environments supporting reporting, analytics, and operational systems</li> <li>Lead technical discussions around architecture, scalability, performance, and modernization initiatives</li> <li>Configure and optimize cloud resources, compute environments, and platform infrastructure</li> <li>Design and support data pipelines, integration workflows, and platform interoperability</li> <li>Establish and enforce best practices related to security, performance, governance, and operational reliability</li> <li>Monitor and improve system availability, usage, and performance across environments</li> <li>Collaborate with engineering teams to support deployment automation and DevSecOps practices</li> <li>Support troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and production issue resolution</li> <li>Develop architecture documentation, standards, and operational procedures</li> <li>Mentor technical team members and provide guidance across engineering initiatives</li> <li>Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and technical roadmap discussions</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field</li> <li>12+ years of hands-on experience designing, administering, and supporting enterprise technology environments</li> <li>Demonstrated expertise designing and implementing scalable cloud-based architectures</li> <li>Hands-on experience architecting, implementing, and supporting enterprise solutions within Databricks environments</li> <li>Demonstrated expertise with Databricks Lakehouse architecture, workflows, and enterprise-scale implementation strategies</li> <li>Subject matter expertise in enterprise analytics and data platform technologies</li> <li>Strong experience with cloud services, infrastructure, and distributed systems</li> <li>Experience designing and supporting enterprise data integration and analytics workflows</li> <li>Strong troubleshooting and systems optimization skills</li> <li>Experience leading technical initiatives and collaborating across cross-functional teams</li> <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li> <li>Eligibility to meet federal contracting and client-specific work authorization requirements is required. Due to project requirements, candidates must be U.S. Citizens or U.S. Permanent Residents (Green Card holders).</li> </ul> <p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience with Apache Spark and modern analytics platforms</li> <li>Experience with AWS cloud architecture and administration</li> <li>Experience supporting enterprise visualization or reporting solutions</li> <li>Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices</li> <li>Familiarity with data lake, machine learning, or advanced analytics environments</li> <li>Experience with infrastructure automation and Infrastructure as Code</li> <li>Relevant certifications preferred, such as:</li> <ul> <li>AWS Solutions Architect Professional</li> <li>AWS DevOps Engineer Professional</li> <li>Databricks certifications</li> <li>Tableau certifications</li> <li>Big Data or analytics platform certifications</li> </ul> </ul> <p><strong>Salary Range</strong></p> <p>At Blueprint, we strive to offer competitive pay that reflects the value of our team members. Compensation for this role is influenced by a variety of factors, including skills, education, responsibilities, experience, and geographic market.</p> <p>For candidates based in Washington State, the anticipated salary range is $<strong>171,800 to $218,300 annually</strong>. Please note that we typically do not hire new employees at the top of the posted range. Actual starting pay will be determined based on experience, skills, and internal equity.
