It’s a fast-paced team environment and the Lube Technician is the first step towards more advanced positions. The role of Lube Technician is to ensure customer receives complete service to his/her vehicle in a timely and professional manner and to maintain a pleasant and safe environment for customers. Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities for a Lube Technician:[BB2] Provide services to customers following procedures and standards as outlined by management for Signature Service and ancillary services including, but not limited to: Assist customers in making correct decisions for preventive maintenance needs Drain oil and replace filters Check and replace automotive fluids as directed Talk to customer and begin initial service requests by entering information Make recommendations to customers, explaining additional services based on manufacturer’s recommendations Complete sales transactions when needed Assist with advertising Understand and comply with OSHA and EPA standards Clean facility as directed to maintain the cleanliness and general repair of the shop and property Be available to work temporarily at nearby locations Follow all policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook and/or Jiffy Lube documentation Other duties as needed Knowledge and Skills: Customer service experience Basic computer skills Cash handling experience High school diploma or GED preferred Work Environment: Exposed to outside weather conditions Work in and around potentially moving vehicles Frequently required to stand and walk Dress and grooming standards Get started today on an amazing tomorrow!
