Opportunity

The Manager - National Sales – Professional Install Channel is responsible for driving profitable growth, expanding national partnerships, and strengthening Kohler's market position within the professional installation ecosystem. This role provides strategic leadership across key install-driven channels—countertop fabrication, direct installation, manufactured housing, hospitality wet spaces, and emerging categories—while building scalable programs, pricing architecture, and talent capabilities to support long-term growth.

This role partners closely with cross-functional leadership to accelerate revenue, improve performance across priority partners, and elevate Kohler's presence within the professional installer community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive incremental revenue through targeted expansion of professional installation businesses nationwide.
  • Establish and manage direct partnerships with professional installers, fabricators, and manufactured housing customers to unlock new growth opportunities.
  • Expand high-potential categories—including bathroom accessories, medicine cabinets, and related installation-driven products—to increase channel share.
  • Launch and scale new and emerging installation-driven channels, including outdoor kitchen professional install networks.

Strategic Channel Leadership

  • Provide strategic leadership for the countertop fabrication channel to increase Kohler and Sterling share and improve overall partner performance.
  • Strengthen and grow hospitality-focused wet space installation programs by establishing high-quality installer networks supported by competitive pricing and programs.
  • Further develop and strengthen strategic national partners within the sink and wet space ecosystem through joint business planning and execution.

Pricing, Programs & Commercial Excellence

  • Develop and implement standardized pricing architecture, incentives, and performance reporting to improve transparency, accountability, and scalability across the professional install channel.
  • Identify product, program, and pricing opportunities that enhance Kohler's competitive advantage within professional installation segments.
  • Partner cross-functionally to ensure alignment between sales strategy, operations, and channel execution.

Organizational Capability & Talent Development

  • Build organizational capability by recruiting, developing, and leading talent to support direct professional installation and emerging business models.
  • Advance salesforce effectiveness through tools, training, and clear performance expectations aligned with channel strategy.

Industry Leadership & Representation

  • Represent Kohler Company through active participation in relevant trade associations, boards, and committees (e.g., ISFA, NSI, and other accredited industry organizations).
  • Elevate Kohler's industry presence and strengthen relationships within the professional installer community at a national level.

Skills/Requirements

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
  • 5+ years of sales leadership experience within professional, project-based, or installation-driven channels
  • Proven success driving national growth strategies, channel expansion, and partner development
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience in pricing strategy, program development, and P&L impact
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams and senior leadership

Preferred

  • Experience within plumbing, kitchen & bath, building products, or adjacent construction-related industries
  • Demonstrated success building or scaling installer, fabricator, or direct-to-pro channels
  • Experience representing organizations in national trade associations or industry forums

Travel

  • Approximately 40–60% domestic travel, including customer, partner, and industry engagements.

This means you'll have access to your applicable benefit programs from your first day on the job, with no waiting period. The salary range for this position is $113,150 - $175,150. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for a performance bonus/variable incentive compensation.
