The Global Execution Excellence team is dedicated to enabling Arene Engineers to produce software of the highest quality while embracing the Agile culture by ensuring that quality is built into the product from the very beginning and Arene strives to constantly improve the way we develop. This role will be the primary representation of the Global Execution Excellence team in Arene North America acting as a cross-regional link and promoting the adoption of an efficient Arene execution model.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the local execution of global initiatives driven by the Quality teams.
  • Promote Arene's TPS-based quality mindset and Agile culture in the Arene North America organization.
  • Represent the Global Arene Quality organization in rolling out global processes in the NA organization.
  • Address the specifics of Arene North America through collaboration with Engineering and other stakeholders to refine existing processes.
  • Drive continuous improvement of processes, ensuring global alignment.
  • Contribute to the implementation of a local audit program of the QMS in collaboration with the Global Execution Excellence audit program manager.
  • Coordinate and conduct internal QMS audits in the different Arene North America sites together with a team of locally appointed and trained auditors.
  • Advocate for Arene Engineering best practices.
  • Orchestrate the execution of the global software product Quality Assurance audit program with North American Engineering teams based on the globally defined engineering criteria.

Requirements

  • Excellent English communication and people engagement skills.
  • Excellent understanding of modern Software Development practices and frameworks (Agile, Scrum, ASPICE, etc.).
  • Good Knowledge of Quality Management Systems, such as ISO 9001:2015 or IATF 16946:2016.
  • Mindset for ownership, collective growth through collaboration, and a bias for progress.
  • Experience in Quality Planning operation and Quality Assurance audit activities.

Nice-to-haves

  • Prior knowledge and practical experience in any of the following domains: organizational development, business-driven product development or software craftsmanship.
  • Experience in Automotive Engineering.
  • Supported a distributed team/organization set-up.
  • Knowledge of the Toyota Production System (TPS).
