Overview *NOTE: We have 5 positions open and they can be located anywhere in CENTRAL or WESTERN part of the US as long as you are close to a Major Airport and comfortable with travel up to 90% Salary Range: $66,560 - $75,000 The TSA Pre-Check Support Trainer will be responsible for training and maintaining operational excellence within your assigned Office Depot TSA market. Through partnership with field leadership, your primary focus will be on ensuring that all TSA cleared associates are trained in the TSA Pre application process, with an emphasis on quality submissions and elimination of errors. You will also provide ongoing support in maintaining the Telos installed Kiosks and associated software. Frequent travel (90%) will be required to set up, train, and provide ongoing support to ODP TSA locations across your assigned market. Passing DHS Public Trust clearance is a requirement of the role. Certification will be provided on the job. Primary Responsibilities: Train and ensure operational excellence at all assigned Office Depot TSA locations. Inclusive of conducting training sessions for TSA cleared associates on the TSA Pre application process, focusing on quality submissions and error elimination. Shift coverage, where applicable, for identified shortfalls in TSA coverage Develop training courses and materials to be used in workshops, group sessions, or individualized training. Evaluate associate’s learning performance and assess progress and understanding. Identify needs and gaps for additional, specialized, or adaptive instruction. Proactively measure and provide support and regular communication with cross-functional teams. Identify areas for improvement and develop and implement necessary changes to enhance operational efficiency. Maintain accurate records of completed associate training, documentation, training materials, and operational equipment to ensure smooth operations and knowledge transfer. Create and provide status reports and communicate any issues to leadership, including the status of the TSA Pre readiness, compliance, and recommended changes/improvements. Stay informed and maintain knowledge of current industry trends, TSA regulations, and technology advancements and modifications to ensure compliance and other pertinent changes that may drive training needs. Demonstrate personal understanding and commitment to the company’s 5C Culture and attributes to create a meaningful training experience for associates. Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Business or Technology or equivalent experience Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Help Desk management, experience in the tech field, or a business-related field DHS Public Trust clearance (certification provided on the job and passing the certification is required to serve in the role) Strong knowledge of computers including Microsoft Suite; Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint Windows Operating Systems, Cisco AnyConnect VPN, Ticket Systems, desktop hardware devices (tablets, monitors, POS devices, etc.), web and client applications, SaaS-based tools, cloud technology, etc Ability to patiently explain technical material to less technically proficient users. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Superior interpersonal skills. Organized with attention to detail. Analytical and management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a management team. A professional, get-it-done attitude with attention to detail and customer service and excellent organizational skills. Must be able to plans own work, uses judgment within limits of standard practice.
